Founded on August 8, 1839, at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Beta Theta Pi is one of North America's oldest and most distinguished Fraternities. With more than 215,00 lifetime members across 140 campuses, we are united by a shared commitment to brotherhood, mutual support and personal growth.  The Beta Beta chapter of the University of Mississippi is one of the most historic Beta chapters in the nation, being founded in 1879, and is one of the largest chapters, with over 300 active members.

At the heart of everything we do is our Men of Principle initiative -- a philosophy that calls every member to lead with integrity, pursue academic excellence, and serve their community.  We believe that when men come together in a spirit of friendship and fidelity, they become something greater than themselves.
